There is a 60′ Test today for you to check that your locally-operated satellite receiver and dish are all working, are aligned with IS-1002 and that you can route its output into your local projection and audio systems. This is particularly for those with set-top-box receivers such as Icecrypts and the Omnex-sold Technisat.
Trafalger Releasing sent you details of some permanent (available 24/7) channels that are on IS-1002. They are not just there for the Test times stated above. You can test your equipment at any time that suits. There of course other Free-To-Air channels available. However, during the above time, there will be a Helpline to give you general advice about reception. It CANNOT give you individual tutorials on Tuning, Dish Settings, Factory Resets or Service Data Resets. You must familiarise yourself with the operation your own equipment.
If you have a managed service from (e.g. LANsat, Éclair/Deluxe, Unique-X, Gofilex) you might want to take this opportunity to book in this test to assess that all is working.
Good Luck!
