Please report any problems to me after the event on 07802 200186
We will be testing some of the satellite kit early today, so there will be a feed available from 1030BST. You are welcome to take a look, but do not call the helpline as we cannot guarantee what you will be seeing and hearing at that time.
The Test will officially start at 1100BST/1000GMT
A reminder that there is a Test for Sunday’s Turn of the Screw tomorrow morning at 1100-1200BST.
The Cityscreens/Picturehouses Helpline for this Test is 01992 822 773.
I trust all will go well.
Check back here if you suspect systemic problems.
Hi
Again, Creative Broadcast Solutions have been asked to support another leading, global cinema broadcast.
We will be originating the feeds at the event in Cologne, and managing the global transmissions.
There will be the usual PowWowNow conference bridge in place to offer you general reception advice too. Given the vast numbers of cinemas taking part, we will NOT be able to offer individual tuning tutorials as we have in the past, but given how many times you have all done this over the years, I am sure you have got the hang of it by now.
This is the place to visit during the Tests (23rd and 29th) and broadcast on the 30th for any general notices about the feed and any problems.
All services ceased at 20:12GMT
Services established and stable by 15:08
The Test period starts at 1500GMT/1600BST/1700CEST.
It is the last broadcast of the Season, and I am sure you all know how to do it by now!
But for those of you who still need help, remember to call the Helpline if you are still unsure how to operate the kit in your cinemas.
The main setting differences to Met/NTLive are
1. DVBS-2
2. 8PSK
3. Pilot “ON”
Services down at 09:16GMT
All services established at 08:32GMT
Test begins at 08:30GMT 09:30BST and 10:30CEST. Helpline operational from 08:15GMT
