The Test ahead of tonight’s broadcast is from 1000GMT/1100CET. The feed is carried on IS1002 (up to 1145GMT) and E5Wa (up to 1100GMT/1200CET)

The Test ahead of this Sunday’s live broadcast is at 0930CET (0830GMT) on E5Wa and at 0930GMT/UK on IS-1002. Both Tests are for 60′ duration.
The Test for next week’s Rigoletto broadcast is at 1100GMT/1200CET and is for 60′. Feeds will be available on IS-1002 and E5Wa.
The Test period starts at 1300GMT/UK. IT MIGHT BE WORTH CHECKING THAT YOUR DISH AND LNB ARE CLEAR OF SNOW. (We had to clear the one’s on the office today)
The Walk-In starts at 1340, with Darcy and Petroc introducing the performance at 14:00GMT/UK

Please note: in order that you can ensure that your line up is correct, in addition to our normal test loop 17:00 to 18:30, we will be playing 2 clips of test material for 1 minute each. The first at 18.35 , the second at 18:41. It is imperative that you use all these opportunities to test your set up.

MAKE FULL USE OF THE 60 MINUTES AVAILABLE. The Test loop includes elements for you to thoroughly test that your projector and audio system are properly set-up and aligned for a live broadcast. It includes the chance to check your picture aspect ratio, audio sync, and correct channel assignment.

As this is a ballet, subtitles will NOT be needed for the main broadcast in the UK or English-speaking audiences. (although they are present in the Test loop).
Update @ 20:43 some interfence has been spotted on the satellite link. Power has been increased to help minimise any problems.
Update @ 19:52 OB traced audio problem and have changed to back up routing of signals.
Update @ 18:35 There is some distortion on the performance part of the test loop. This is being investigated by the OB.
The test for this evening’s live transmission will run from 18:00 to 19:00 GMT.
Today’s test runs from 12:05 to 13:05 GMT.
Note that it follows on from the ROH test below. The tuning parameters are different from the ROH test. The symbol rate is 15000, not 1500 as printed on the sheet. Please check your tuning information.
