IS905 service optimised at 10:02GMT. All stable
IS10-02 service optimised at 09:58GMT.  All stable
Services established at 09:52GMT

The (Cinema) test period will begin at 10:00GMT / 11:00BST (UK) / 12:00CEST (Europe) for 60′. It will have the RSC Test Loop

Cinemas MUST take the service called “Cinema Shakespeare”. If you see a service on IS-1002 called “BBC Shakespeare” you have got the WRONG channel and it will NOT work.

The International Broadcaster Test starts at 1500GMT/1600BST, again for 60′. This will be VALID bars/tone.

UPDATE 1738BST: The Met Opera have just announced that the first minute of the Opera is SILENT.

All the feeds (IS-1002 and IS-905 with all subs embedded, IS-1002 with German burnt-in, E5Wa with  French and Spanish services) are now up and stable.

MET OPERA: “Madame Butterfly” Test 29th March

The Test for this Saturday’s broadcast starts at 0730GMT/0930CEST on E5Wa for 30′. The usual 2 feeds will be available (1x burnt-in French subtitles and 1x Spanish burnt-in subtitles).

This will be followed by a 30′ Test on IS-1002 at 0830GMT/0930BST/1030CEST with a single feed (all subtitles embedded).
