A reminder that there is a Test at 0930GMT(UK) / 1030CET(W.Europe), with a feed on IS-1002 with English subs and another feed on E5Wa with French and Spanish subs.

Remember this is a DVBS-2/QPSK/Pilot OFF broadcast

Obscure audio fault at NT from 17:23 to 17:28 – Sound engineer dealt with…
Transmission ceased at 21:50.  Clean and stable throughout.

Test transmission is scheduled for 11:00GMT/12:00CET this morning.  UK clocks have changed so UK local time is now GMT.
Services established at 10:50GMT
There was a short break in service on the Subs feed at 11:37GMT – A local encoder issue here.  All OK again at 11:38GMT
More encoder issues on Subs feed between 11:42 & 11:44GMT
Changed to reserve encoder on Subs feed at 11:48GMT
Services ceased at 12:00GMT

UPDATE: Some of a UK cinema-chain may have received a local in-house tuning guide that says PILOT-ON. This is INCORRECT. Pilot needs to be set to OFF

The test period of todays transmission begins at 14:45GMT/15:45BST/16:45CEST
The helpline will be operational from 14:30GMT/15:30BST/16:30CEST
All services established at 14:30GMT
Performance finished at 20:25GMT
Transmission ceased at 20:31GMT

‘Stitches’ red carpet event – TX

Transmission begins at 20:30BST
Signals seen at 20:20BST but Black to line currently
Content now established and stable 20:23BST
There are reports of various Icecrypt receivers being out of sync.  The feed is syncronous but the Icecrypts are getting confused by something.  A retune will sort it but this obviously cant be done now we are into the programme.  If you can adjust the sync in your cinema audio system, please do so.

Service name is ‘Ride, Rise, Roar’ for some reason…
Regular breakup & pixelation seen at start as content loops – This is a feed issue – Do Not Adjust
10:10BST Playout loop swapped – now you will see 7 seconds of black and slight breakup as content loops

The Penguin King Test and TX 24th October

UPDATE: The feed is now up at 1915BST. It is a holding card of “The Penguin King 3D”. There does NOT appear to be any audio with it.

There is a test this morning 0900 -1000GMT and 1000-1100 BST. Test and transmission tonight 1830-2015 GMT, 1930-2115 BST. This transmission audio is only 2.0 ( stereo) and not 5.1 surround sound .Please call your helpline if you have problems tuning.
