A reminder that the Testing starts at 1000GMT/1100 BST/1200 CEST. And remember that you need to set your receivers (except for IS805 in South America) to DVBS-2 and 8PSK and PILOT ON . This is probably different to your usual settings. Please refer to your tuning guide or receiver handbook as to how to do this.
Apologies for the late posting: we have been inundated with calls to the Helpline.
It seems that there have been many problems this afternoon: most of them from the fact that you didn’t get the information that the FEC was changed overnight to 3/4. Once this was entered, most of you were resolved.
The test runs from 11.30 to 1200 GMT. That’s 12.30-1300 BST. Currently the feed is not established, the teleport are unable to lock onto the signal from Milan.
We are providing helpline services for 10-01 takers for the test at 11.30-12.00 GMT. We are not on site in Milan and are here to offer you general tuning advice. Please remember that this is DVBS2-QPSK.
