New Kids on the Block/Back Street Boys

Hello to you all.

A reminder that there is a Test this morning at 1000-1100GMT (That means 1100 in the UK and 1200 across Western Europe).
This Test will be on IS10-02 and you must set your receiver to be:
DVB-S2
8PSK
Pilot ON (or Auto)

Call your helpline if you have trouble receiving.

They will NOT be able to help you if you are unfamiliar with your kit (and do not know how to or have not tuned before),

When you call you MUST

1. Have your tuning guide with you

2. The telephone must be in sight of the receiver you want help with.

3. Be experienced in doing such tuning.

Bolshoi ” The Bright Stream” Test 24th April 2012

A reminder that the Testing starts at 1000GMT/1100 BST/1200 CEST.   And remember that you need to set your receivers (except for IS805 in South America) to DVBS-2 and 8PSK and PILOT ON . This is probably different to your usual settings. Please refer to your tuning guide or receiver handbook as to how to do this.

La Scala 21st April

It seems that there have been many problems this afternoon: most of them from the fact that you didn’t get the information that the FEC was changed overnight to 3/4. Once this was entered, most of you were resolved.

The test runs from 11.30 to 1200 GMT. That’s 12.30-1300 BST. Currently the feed is not established, the teleport are unable to lock onto the signal from Milan.

MET OPERA: La Traviata 14th April

Good afternoon and welcome to the last Met Opera of the 2011/12 season.

Testing starts at 1445GMT, 1545BST(UK), 1645CEST (Europe).

There are feeds on IS10-02 with English, German and Russian subtitles. French and Spanish are available on AB3. Telstar 12 has got an English feed too.

The main programme begins at 1700GMT/1800BST/1900CEST

Met Opera: MANON. Saturday 7th April

Good Afternoon to all Met Opera partners.

We are now setting up in the MCR and the Testing will start at 1345GMT/1445BST(UK)/1545CEST(Europe).

I am sure you have all got it gripped it by now, but do call your appointed Helpline if you need reception advice.

Today we have got 3 services on IS-1002 with English, German and Russian subtitles. There are also English subtitles on Telstar 12. If you want French or Spanish subtitles, then you need to be tuned on AB-3.
