During the Test period you will be able to follow the LIVE rehearsals: so you will see a whole range of shots and sounds.

At 1900GMT there will be a still card inviting you to open the doors ready for a 1915 start.

This is a Dolby 2.0 transmission meaning LEFT & RIGHT audio channels ONLY.
Please also note that ‘Great Expectations’ test material will be used today.  Please ensure you disregard the 5.1 audio channel ident section.

The user conference will be active from 10:45GMT should you need assistance.

The test period for European, Russian & Middle East territories begins at 15:45GMT / 16:45CET
All services established and stable at 15:29GMT
Significant breakup for 10 seconds on all services at 15:32GMT – fault incoming to UK
Significant breakup on all services at 16:07GMT – all stable again by 16:10GMT
20 second service break at 21:20 effecting all European services – Switched to reserve transatlantic capacity to re establish
Content finishes at 21:30GMT
All services ceased at 21:40GMT

Good morning! A reminder that the test starts at 0930GMT/1030CET/1130EET.

From 1000GMT we will be doing some engineering tests for embedded subtitles. Please feel free to join in if you want to try to select your own language from the feed. Refer to your instruction manual if you do. As these are internal tests, there will be NO Helpline support after 1000GMT

This is a DVBS-2/QPSK/Pilot OFF broadcast with the following PIDS

Video 308, Audio 256, PMT 32, PCR 308.

Call your helpline with any queries.

TEST CONTENT

1. Bars: This has L+R only

2. Channel Ident: takes each stem of the 5.1 in turn )(with low-level LFE

3. Excerpt: Does not have any LFE
